As an Executive Management Team member, Leslie regularly engaged with the board of directors, investors and business development team at both Biomet Orthopedics and AngioDynamics. Leslie’s was responsible for leading both companies through the double impact of healthcare reform and the resulting medical device tax. Leading both health policy and reimbursement, Leslie managed government and legislative relationships while leading corporate market access strategy. on regulatory, clinical and reimbursement strategies in support of market access. While focused alignment of clinical, regulatory and reimbursement, Leslie shared P&L responsibility with Business Unit General Managers to ensure execution of monetization strategy and increased revenue year over year. From 2012 to 2016, AngioDynamics stock price increased by 86% as the market responded favorably to improved monetization through proper execution of the reimbursement strategy in the US and OUS markets.Since October 2016, Leslie has served as President and CEO of EvidenceMatters, a global market access consultancy which provides advisory services to healthcare clients in the US, Canada, EU5, APAC and Africa. With more than 25 years of experience across multiple verticals, Leslie supports strategic commercialization for both early stage and established medical technology companies. Leslie advises her clients on defining their market access strategy and monetizing the value of their therapies.In 2020, Leslie joined the board of directors of Orthocell, Ltd., a publicly traded Australian company, where she serves on the Remuneration committee. She also recently joined the board of directors of TryCycle Data Systems, a privately held Canadian health tech company. Leslie also previously served on the board of directors for Sanarus Technologies, a women’s health company which was successfully sold in 2020. Additionally, Leslie serves on the following Advisory boards: Texas Medical Center Innovation Center, Ignite Health Network and the Medicare Evidence Development and Coverage Analysis Committee (MEDCAC). Leslie is also an active contributor to industry trade and policy organizations such as Advamed, Eucomed and MDMA.
